INGREDIENTS:

BASMATHI RICE                                –              3/4 CUP

WATER                                                                 –              3 ½ CUP

OIL                                                         –              1TSP

ONION CHOPPED                             –              4TBSP

CARROT CHOPPED                           –              1/3 CUP

BEANS CHOPPED                              –              1/3 CUP

FRESH PEAS                                        –              1/4 CUP

GREEN CHILLIES (CHOPPED)        –              3 NOS

GARLIC MINCED                                –              8 CLOVES

SALT                                                      –              3/4 TSP

METHOD:

  • Cook the rice in 3 ½ cup of water until tender, drain and set aside.
  • Heat a teaspoon of oil in a shallow pan and fry the onions until golden brown add the green chillies and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add vegetables and fry until tender.
  • Add cooked rice and salt mix well and serve hot.
