Sonam Kapoor is one of the fashionistas of the Bollywood industry. She has been very vocal about how she takes hours to get her looks right.
Recently, the “Zoya Factor” actress conducted a “Ask me anything” session where most of the questions fans had for her, were about her skin, makeup and fitness.
Sonam started off by crediting everything to makeup. She then went on to explain that she uses a lot of products on her face and really focuses on taking care of her skin.
“Exfoliation, sunblock and moisturisation are key to good skin,” Sonam said and added that she uses everything from undereye creams, cleansers and masks to ensure her skin is smooth.
One rule that she strictly follows, is to take off her makeup before she sleeps. “When I go to sleep, I remove my makeup, moisturise again and drink a lot of water,” shared the actress who also added that she has fine lines and hyperpigmentation that she manages to hide with makeup. “Baking really helps my concealer settle … correct concealer, corrector and beauty powder is all you need,” she added.
As for what products she uses, Sonam revealed that there is nothing as good as the right foundation, and basic kajal that do the trick for her. “Great foundation, the correct concealer and kajal are important. I also love blush and mascara. I love everything makeup,” Sonam said
But the actress is aware that looking good comes with feeling good. She believes that staying fit is the key to good health and skin. For this, the Veere Di Wedding actress said that she prefers “pilates and weight training,” and tries to take long walks with her husband Anand Ahuja.
